A Rose and an Iris

for my believing Mother's patience

for my brothers homeless for twenty years

for every village in my Home Country
for every destroyed house

for every fortified Citadel

for every Poet under siege

for every colored Rock

for every heart beating with Love for all the places

for every heart hating the treacherous dogs

a Rose...

and a thousand Irises !
